Sergio Quevedo serves as Associate Director for Church Planting at the North American Division Evangelism Institute (NADEI). He has personally planted churches in the Boston area and has directed church planting across North America and in Tokyo, Japan (Mission Unusual Tokyo!), a multi-year mission that produced twelve church plants and two church planting residencies. His ministry has taken him across multiple continents, and he is one of the catalysts behind the ACTS church planting movement, now active in more than 36 sites across five world divisions and over 20 countries.

He is the author of Called to Plant: How All Believers Can Use the EPIC Method to Start New Churches and the Core Group Playbook. He and his wife Raquel, a nurse practitioner, have two children, Nicolas and Natalia.

Sergio believes the mission of the church is fully expressed when God’s people move “from temples to tables and from programs to a community of people on mission.” He is passionate about equipping pastors, planters, and leaders across the North American Division with the frameworks, systems, and coaching to turn vision into sustainable, reproducible movements. Drawing on hard-won lessons from the field, he helps leaders rediscover their calling to reach the people around them who are still far from God, developing residency hubs and support structures so that new churches are both launched and sustained.
